Caring for a loved one can be deeply rewarding, but also comes with challenges.
Our Caregiver Program offers information, training, and personalized guidance to help family caregivers navigate the day-to-day responsibilities of supporting a spouse, partner, parent, relative, or friend.

Eligibility:

You may qualify for this free supportive service if you are an adult who is:

  • Caring for someone who is age 60 or older
  • Caring for someone of any age living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
  • You are 55 or older and a grandparent or other kinship relative caring for a child under 18.
  • You are 55 or older and a parent, grandparent, or other kinship relative caring for an adult, ages 18-59, living with a disability.

How Can a Caregiver Specialist Help?

  • Listen to your concerns and help you develop strategies to meet the challenges of caregiving.
  • Provide information about programs and services available in your community for both you and for your loved one.
  • Offer referrals and guidance around health, social, financial, and legal options for you and your loved one
  • Help identify respite care options and screen for possible financial support through various community programs and benefits.
